1988年夏季奧林匹克運動會
第二十四屆夏季奧林匹克運動會於1988年9月17日至10月2日在韓國漢城（今首爾）舉行。
漢城是在德國舉行的國際奧委會第84次會議上，擊敗唯一的競爭對手日本名古屋後獲得主辦權的，而本屆奧運會會歌為《手拉手》（Hand In Hand）韓國政府因舉辦奧運會的壓力而實現民主化。
