在這次回溯前世之後，這位病人面對圓月的負面感受消失了。
7.1.5沒有偶然的婚姻
韋斯的書《唯愛是真》（Only Love Is Real: A Story of Soulmates）記錄了下面這樣的案例。⁵¹³
一位男士和一位女士，互不相識，分別在大約同一時間找到韋斯進行治療。韋斯發現他們回憶出前世的時候，能說出相同時代的、相同的特定情境，只是他們當時角色不同。
其中一世中，男子是個住在耶路撒冷的猶太人，善於製作陶器，被羅馬士兵活活拖死，在女兒的懷中停止了呼吸，而那位女士從女兒的角度回憶起同樣的前世事件。另一世中，兩人在蒙古生活，曾經結為夫妻，經歷了生離死別的痛苦。
出於職業道德，韋斯不能將這兩人的回憶或任何情況告訴對方，他只是有意安排約見的時間，使這兩人在韋斯的辦公室有過一面之交。
當這兩人的療程結束時，在同一天去機場準備飛往不同的地方，可是其中一個人的飛機因故不能起飛，被轉到另一個人將要乘坐的班機上，於是兩人得以相識、相愛。
韋斯寫道：「沒有一樁婚姻是偶然的」。這正好也應了中國的一句古話「千里姻緣一線牽」。今生結成夫妻的人，應該在前世的多次生命輪迴中已經建立了深厚的連結，可能已經結下了生生世世的緣分。
7.2沃穆巴赫博士的統計論證
海倫‧沃穆巴赫（Helen Wambach,1925—1986）最初是一位針對精神錯亂的青春期女孩的創新治療師。當無意中發現自己的一些前世事情時，她改變了研究方向，成為了輪迴轉世研究的先驅者之一。⁵¹⁴
沃穆巴赫在十年裡研究了一千多個對前生前世有記憶的人。她採取了深度催眠法，喚起了被催眠者很多栩栩如生的回憶。
根據他們回憶的資料，沃穆巴赫進行了詳細研究，比較了這些人前世的經濟境況、人種、出生地、吃穿用具等。她將研究結果總結在《重溫往世──催眠下的證據》（Reliving past lives– The evidence under hypnosis）一書中。⁵¹⁵
沃穆巴赫一共收集了1088份問卷結果，並對答卷中提供的信息進行了認真的審核，發現受訪者的轉世記憶和他們所說的歷史年代實況高度吻合。例如：
第一，前世角色社會階層：沃穆巴赫把他們分為上、中和下三層。她發現60%～77%的人前世為下層，上層案例占總數不到10%。沒有任何一個人回憶起自己是著名的歷史人物。
第二，前世角色種族分布：沃穆巴赫把這些案例的前世種族大概地分為三類：高加索人；亞洲人和印第安人；黑人。在公元前2000年，20%的案例是高加索人，大多居住在北地中海一帶，並擴散於中亞的山區和北部地區。其它兩類人種大概各占40%。這符合當時世界人種比例和分布。
第三，前世用的餐具、穿的衣服符合歷史狀況。例如古代的餐具用的是木製的，而鐵器和瓷器在近代的轉世經歷中才會出現。
第四，轉生在某一特定時期的次數和當時世界人口數量有相關性。除了大瘟疫流行的時間段之外，世界人口大致呈上升趨勢，從公元400年到1600年，世界人口增加了一倍，然後在1850年再次翻了一番。沃穆巴赫對轉世記憶的研究數據也證實了這個人口增長模式。
7.3牛頓博士對精神世界的研究
心理學博士麥可‧牛頓（Michael Newton,1931—2016）是經過認證的催眠治療師，曾在洛杉磯的高等教育機構擔任教師，也在社區心理健康中心和精神復興組織中擔任過行為諮詢師和治療總監。⁵¹⁶
1994年牛頓博士發表了近300頁研究輪迴轉生的著作《靈魂之旅》（Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives）。這本書主要基於他十年期間對29個人在催眠狀態中的觀察記錄，重點描述了人的靈魂在離開塵世、進入精神世界到下一次轉生之間的經歷。⁵¹⁷
與第五章上篇所述的瀕死體驗類似，牛頓所觀察到的精神世界是一個廣闊和美妙的空間，光彩奪目。與「物質世界」相比，「精神世界」具有更高的能量，靈性生命在其中感到安祥、解脫。人的靈魂放射著智慧之光，又可以變化成在世間的形像。靈性生命之間可以進行思維傳感。
牛頓還描述了一個現象。在另外空間，人的靈魂是有顏色的，赤橙黃綠青藍紫不同顏色代表不同級別。
八、輪迴轉世揭示生命本質否定進化論
輪迴轉世始終伴隨著人類文明的歷史，各種輪迴案例在世界各國的傳統文化歷史中都有記載，只是進入近現代以來，由於工業化革命和進化論的相互作用，人們越來越偏離傳統，很多人對精神現象漠不關心。
然而近年來西方的瀕死輪迴學研究，超越了現代醫學、心理學、宗教學等傳統學科知識，成為生命科學中的新興學科──超心理學的一個分支，研究人類的靈魂。
8.1瀕死輪迴現象的民意調查
無論東方還是西方，大多數人可能都有這樣的經歷，當與一個素未謀面的人第一次見面時，可能會有似曾相識（deja vu）的感覺。很多人找到自己的另一半，也往往是源於「一見鍾情」。這些現象，都無法用其它生物學理論來解釋，而用人與人之間有前世「緣分」的角度來看，就很好理解。
雖然大多數人無法記起前世的經歷，但是記憶中還是會留下前世的痕跡，在與人、事物的首次接觸中，或多或少地會展現出前世的經歷。
迄今為止，無數輪迴轉世的真實案例、大量不容忽略的科學事實讓人們認同輪迴轉世的說法，相信人死後意識猶存、靈魂不滅。
2013年發表在《北歐心理學》（Nordic Psychology）期刊上的一篇題為「大眾心理學，北歐、西歐和東歐地區對死後生命和輪迴轉世的看法」的論文記錄了「歐洲價值觀民調」（European Values Survey）的結果，顯示大眾對輪迴轉世現象的認可程度。⁵¹⁸
這項獨特的系列調查首次於1980—1983年間在14個西歐國家、加拿大和美國進行，在1990—1993年間擴展為涵蓋43個國家的「世界價值觀民調」（World Values Survey），並在1999—2002年間擴展至81個國家，這些國家約代表全球85%的人口。
1999至2002年的歐洲調查，每個國家接受民調的人數平均為1140人。數據顯示，在北歐五國（丹麥、芬蘭、冰島、挪威和瑞典），平均52.8%的人相信死後依然存在生命，22.6%的受訪者相信輪迴轉世；在相信人死後還有生命的人中，42%的人相信轉世。
在西歐15國（奧地利、比利時、英國、法國、西德、盧森堡、荷蘭、愛爾蘭、北愛爾蘭、瑞士、希臘、義大利、馬爾他、葡萄牙、西班牙），平均58.9%的人相信死後依然存在生命，22.2%的受訪者相信輪迴轉世；在相信人死後還有生命的人中，36.7%的人相信轉世。
東歐國家平均47.6%的人相信死後依然存在生命，27%的受訪者相信輪迴轉世；在相信人死後還有生命的人中，54%的人相信轉世。
具體到國家，相信輪迴轉世的比例立陶宛為44%、冰島41%、瑞士36%，最低的是前東德12%。而立陶宛超過77%信仰基督教，6%無宗教信仰⁵¹⁹。冰島71%信仰基督教，6%無宗教信仰⁵²⁰。瑞士也是一個基督教國家，三分之二的人信仰天主教或新教⁵²¹。

8.2瀕死輪迴學揭示生命本質否定進化論
瀕死輪迴學的興起標誌著我們不再僅僅從物質世界，而是從精神和物質的雙重角度來研究生命現象。這一轉變對引導人類生命科學走向正確的方向，具有里程碑式的作用。人的生命起源問題，除了肉體的來源之外，更應該關注靈魂的來源和歸宿問題。
人類的傳統文化描述了瀕死體驗和輪迴轉世現象。在近現代，一群西方國家的醫學專家用實證科學的邏輯和嚴謹的科學方法，充分證實了瀕死體驗和輪迴轉世現象的真實存在以及傳統文化對人的一些生命現象的描述是有依據的。
美國放射腫瘤學家傑弗瑞‧朗恩（Jeffrey Long）通過研究調查5000餘例瀕死體驗，毫無疑問地揭示了人的肉體死亡之後靈魂不死。⁵²³
美國精神病學家伊恩‧史蒂文森（Ian Stevenson）通過總結超過2500例輪迴轉世的案例，無可辯駁地證明了人的靈魂可以多次轉生為人。不死的精神生命帶著的每一世信息，包括生活習慣、喜好、記憶與他人的關係等等，往往在下一世延續下去。
輪迴轉世的案例研究，往往體現出因果報應的特點。人與人的這一世緣分和相處情況，往往會跟他們在前世的行為直接相關。緣分包括父母之緣、夫妻之緣、朋友之緣等等。大量西方轉世案例證明，一個人對另一個人在某一世所做過的好事或壞事，會奠定他與受益者或受害者之間的後世關係的基礎。
中國的傳統文化中有「百年修得同船渡，千年修得共枕眠」的說法。現代社會離婚率上升，很多人不珍惜夫妻緣分，關係處不好了就離婚，似乎認為離婚了就一了百了。殊不知就算這一世離婚了，不代表靈魂之間的因緣關係能夠被切斷。如果相互之間有虧欠，這世還不清，將來他們還可能會重逢。
傳統文化和現代科學在對輪迴轉世的認識上如此驚人地走到了一起。
可是當實證科學的方法得出了超越人們當前認知的結論時，人們卻往往視而不見、固守成規，還是不願意改變舊觀念。其實一切舊觀念都是阻擋人們認識真理的障礙。只有具備接納不同思維方式的開放心胸，人們才能接近生命起源的答案。
正如撰寫《美國獨立宣言》並成為美國第二任總統的托馬斯‧傑斐遜⁵²⁴（Thomas Jefferson,1743—1826）在創建維吉尼亞大學時寫道：「這個機構將建立在人類思想的無限自由的基礎上。在這裡，我們不怕追隨真理，無論她通向何方。」⁵²⁵

8.3瀕死輪迴研究再次否定進化論
達爾文提出的人類進化假說，根本不提人的靈魂，更不談其來自何處。瀕死輪迴研究的成果揭示了人的本質是靈魂，足以否定進化假說。
二戰飛行員詹姆斯飛機失事之後，1999年轉世誕生在美國路易斯安那州。轉生之後的他曾經在玩耍時對父母說，「你們是一對很好的父母，我當時就知道選擇你們准沒錯。」詹姆斯說，當初自己在夏威夷一家粉紅色的酒店裡發現了他的爸爸媽媽，因為很喜歡他們，才選擇了他們當自己的父母。這讓詹姆斯的父母簡直不敢置信，因為當時他們確實在夏威夷一家粉紅色的酒店度假，之後就有了小詹姆斯。
詹姆斯不僅記得前世，還記得出生前的靈魂如何選擇肉體轉生的過程，這個被科學家稱為出生前記憶（prenatal memory）⁵²⁶或胎內記憶（perinatal memory）⁵²⁷。
這方面的先驅研究者是日本婦產科醫師池川明（Akira Ikegawa,1954—）。他畢業於帝京大學醫學院，曾在上尾中央綜合醫院擔任婦產科主任，1989年在神奈川縣橫濱市開設池川診所。⁵²⁸
池川明曾做過兩個調查：第一次調查對象是79位在池川診所看診的母親。提問內容是：「您的小孩是否還記得在腹中時或是出生時的事情？」結果有胎內記憶的孩子占53%，有出生前記憶的占41%。⁵²⁹
2002和2003年，池川在長野縣諏訪市和鹽尻市的幼兒園做了3061組親子調查，收到了1620個平均年齡在4歲左右的孩子的反饋，調查結果是：33%的孩子有胎內記憶；21%的孩子能回憶起出生過程。
池川明現為日本「產前和圍產期心理與健康協會（Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health，簡稱APPPAH）」的顧問。著有《父母是孩子選擇的》⁵³⁰、《在雲彩上看到媽媽時》和《媽媽，我是為你而來的》等書。
這幾本著作除了記錄孩子們的胎內記憶，也記錄了一些非常有趣的天堂或另外空間的描述。很多孩子都說出類似的情況，說他們出生前待在雲彩上，與天使、仙子一起生活。他們在全世界找尋他們的母親，找到後就離開天上的雲彩，飛進媽媽的肚子裡。
瀕死體驗中，瀕死者的靈魂看到神和天堂，胎內記憶表明靈魂轉生為人之前來自雲彩之上（更高層的宇宙空間），和科學家發現的靈魂轉生之間的「精神世界」如出一轍。這些研究已經開始提示我們人的靈魂來源於天上或更高層的宇宙空間。
生命的奧秘是無限的，人們迄今為止還有很多未能認知的真相。如果我們保持開放的心胸，不斷探索下去，將會越來越接近生命肉體和靈魂起源的真實答案。
而現代科學在進化論的錯誤引導下，偏離了對生命本質靈魂的認識，偏離了傳統和道德，後者又是靈魂的根基，所以造成了越來越多的人類健康和生態環境的危機。我們將在第六章繼續展開論述。
